Country Club

The Country Club neighborhood of La Jolla is centrally located on the west side of Mt Soledad.  It surrounds the La Jolla Country Club and the private 18 hole La Jolla Golf Course.  Residences of the Country Club neighborhood are larger, typically ranging from approximately 3000-6000 sqft and often have large lot sizes (although not all of the land is useable due to the topography) and many offer panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean and La Jolla. Home prices range between about $2-6M with sales as high as $17M in recent years. 

Residents of the Country Club neighborhood have access to shopping, restaurants, the beach and The Village within a few minutes drive.  Many of the properties here were built in the 1920's, but many have seen major renovations and some have been completely torn down and rebuilt in the last decade or so.  While many of the roads here are narrow and winding, the magnificent views and properties make up for it.  The Country Club neighborhood is surrounded by La Jolla Shores to the north, Hidden Valley to the east, the Muirlands to the south and The Village to the west.
